instrument_port¶
Subsystem sheet /instrument_port of mouse-joystick-pcb, from the board recipe subsystems/instrument_port.subsystem.yaml.
The InstrumentPort-Digital-50 DUT boundary on a sheet of its own: every instrument tap and firmware marker the board exposes, renamed at the boundary from the DUT block's DIG channel names to the board's _INST nets; no parts of its own.
Board note: board-authored sheet, 0 parts
Notes¶
- The channel order and grouping follow docs/interface-map.md, InstrumentPort-Digital-50 Pinout; the DUT block's DIG channels are read-only buffers, so a tap loads its net with one CMOS input and nothing on the instrument side can drive the board.
- Shared bus lines (the TMC SPI, the DAC I2C) are tapped once, by the board, in the sheet that owns the pull; a block's own signals carry their _INST tap inside the block (layout convention 14).
Ports¶
The recipe's ports as the sheet symbol carries them, the root label each meets, and the net's class, MCU pin and meaning.
